בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יהוה אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם, מַתִּיר אֲסוּרִים
Blessed are You God who sets captives free.
May the One who frees the bound,
deliver each Israeli hostage to freedom.
Deliver each child and elder home.
May the One who frees the imprisoned,
bring an end to the siege on Gaza,
where there is nowhere to hide as bombs rain down.
From the depths,
we cry out to You,
We seek Your comfort as we mourn.
God, let no one use the deaths of our people
to keep water from children in Gaza.
May the Source of Life
help us fight for life.
May the God of Mercy
be with each family as they mourn.
