March for #CareNotCriminalization

Mayor Adams has proposed budget cuts that could have devastating consequences on essential services such as libraries, pre-K, CUNY, schools, and more. We're marching to demand care, not criminalization!

JFREJ meet-up spot: We'll be meeting up just southeast of Centre & Chambers St. Look for people wearing JFREJ t-shirts!

Please note: While this mass mobilization will be outside, due to the number of expected attendees, it's likely we will be in close proximity to each other. This is a large coalition event and we cannot control what all attendees do with regard to masking, but we do urge JFREJ members to mask.

If you are unable to join us on-site at the march, please join us on social media by using the hashtag #CareNotCriminalization and #CareNotCuts. You can also take immediate action here to contact Mayor Eric Adams, Council Speaker Adrienne Adams, and your council member and demand #CareNotCuts. We will also be live-streaming the rally and march from facebook.com/jfrejnyc!
