Jews for Black Lives Action & Vigil

JFREJ's Jews of Color Caucus and our Campaign For Police Accountability are announcing a month of Jews For Black Lives actions, starting this Thursday, 7/21. This Thursday is also a National Day of Action for Black Lives Matter, where we will show how many in this country are committed to holding the police to the highest ethical standards as we create true safety for all. In the Three Weeks leading to Tisha B'av we will mourn those lost to police violence around the country and express our outrage over attempts to stall police reform in New York City. We will take to the streets with singing, ritual, powerful speakers and righteous anger. If you would like to help with planning, outreach or coordinating, please contact leo@jfrej.org.
