Rate: $22/hour, 10 hours/week from March 2nd to May 29th

Position Description: JFREJ is seeking to hire someone to support our work by expanding the capacity of our development team through a few key areas: research on prospective donors and funders (60%), phonebanking to support the JFREJ Spring membership drive and to thank donors (40%). 

Job Requirements: 

  • Use iWave (a wealth research tool), as well as other online tools to research the capacity and affinity of prospective donors
  • Create donor profiles to help guide the priorities of the JFREJ development team as it relates to individual donor fundraising
  • 25-30 calls per hour for the following projects that support JFREJ’s long-term fundraising and build our people power:
  • Spring Membership Drive to ask people to join JFREJ as dues-paying members
  • Calling members to thank them for their contribution and let them know about upcoming ways to be involved with JFREJ.
  • Ability to make back-to-back calls for a few hours at a time (taking breaks as needed)


Qualifications: 

  • Experience with donor prospecting or excitement to learn more about donor prospecting and the ways it guides development strategy
  • Alignment with JFREJ’s mission and values
  • Ability to manage one’s time well effectively- much of this work is self directed and you will need excellent time management skills
  • Ability to have effective conversations with JFREJ members
  • Ability to quickly familiarize oneself with using JFREJ’s phonebanking and research software
