Right now, asylum seekers in New York City are being faced with evictions after 30, 60, and 90 days of living in shelters. Intro 210, a bill introduced by Councilmember Shahanna Hanif, would end shelter evictions and ensure that all New Yorkers have the right to shelter. Every week this summer, we're calling into the offices of our councilmembers who haven't signed onto Intro 210 and encouraging them to do so.
