New York City is reeling from hate violence, and mourning Tuesday’s terrible tragedy in Jersey City. In this political moment, so many of our communities are being targeted by hate violence, including Muslims, immigrants, Jews, Black people, trans women and other LGBTQ New Yorkers.

For the first time, a diverse coalition of community-based organizations that includes all of the communities most directly impacted by hate violence is coordinating a response to hate violence in New York City. Join us throughout NYC on Thursday, February 13th for a citywide Day Against Hate. We will learn about the different and connected ways that our communities have been impacted, learn how to better protect ourselves and each other, and decrease our reliance on the police for our safety.
