BEYOND THE PALE aired on WBAI/New York, 99.5 FM, part of the Pacifica Radio Network, from 1995 to 2014. The program, which broadcast Sundays from noon to 1 p.m., explored local, national and international political debate and analysis from a Jewish perspective. It brought listeners the voices and sounds of contemporary Jewish culture, from film critics to filmmakers, novelists, poets and musicians.
BEYOND THE PALE was executive produced by Esther Kaplan and Marilyn Kleinberg Neimark and produced with the support of Jews For Racial & Economic Justice (JFREJ).
