Screening United in Anger: A History of ACT UP

In the final part of JFREJ's Fall Direct Action Series, join us for a film screening and in depth conversation on the role of direct action, building off of the learning from the 4 previous workshop. United in Anger documents the beginnings of the AIDS activist movement and the relationship between social transformation and direct action. The night will include a community discussion of different strategies guiding direct action and how we plan to use action as a tool for building power in the year ahead

.Note: This event was rescheduled from the 4th January, when it was cancelled due to bad weather.
