This includes drafting compelling email content, programming emails in our email marketing platform, testing, scheduling, and sending communications to our existing lists.

Working closely with the team, the Associate will develop persuasive fundraising messages that engage supporters, drive membership and donations, and communicate the impact of our work. The Associate will also support the drafting of our year-end impact report.

This is a hands-on role for a strong fundraising writer and digital campaign executor who can work independently, manage tight timelines, and deliver high-quality communications in a fast-paced environment.

  • Own the end-to-end email production process, including drafting, editing, programming, quality assurance, testing, scheduling, and sending.
  • Program emails in the organization's email marketing or fundraising platform, ensuring links, donation forms, formatting, personalization, and other technical elements function correctly.

  • Help translate organizational accomplishments, program outcomes, and key milestones into clear, engaging, and accessible content.
  • Work with team members to gather relevant information, stories, and data that demonstrate the impact of the organization's work.
  • Help ensure the report communicates organizational achievements in a way that supports donor stewardship and future fundraising efforts.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in digital fundraising, nonprofit communications, political fundraising, advocacy, or a related field.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with experience producing persuasive fundraising appeals and donor communications.
