As we close out the calendar year, we invite caucus members (or JFREJ members who identify with our caucus identities: people of color, Mizrahi or Sephardi Jews, people living with a disability or chronic illness, poor or working class), to join us for lunch and a learning session.
RSVP link coming soon!
This event is for you if:
- You hold one or more of the identities of our caucus groups, and
- You’re interested in strengthening JFREJ’s caucus work and helping it strengthen JFREJ’s overall work, and
- You want to get to know other JFREJers who hold a caucus identity, and
- You’re a long-time caucus member, or a lapsed caucus member, or you’ve never attended a caucus event at JFREJ in your life!
We’ll spend time noshing, connecting with each other to strengthen our work and build relationships, and then learning together to deepen the impact of our work moving forward.
About the Workshop:
The workshop portion of the event will be facilitated by JFREJ’s Caucus Organizer, Reem Ramadan, and JFREJ member (and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Strategist) Natania Malin Gazek. It’s designed to help us strengthen our caucus work by giving ourselves a shared vocabulary to use in talking about our identities (which will do through the framework of a social identity matrix), the systems of oppression that shape them, and how they impact our anti-oppression work at JFREJ.
