As Jews around the world gather to celebrate Chanukah this week, we are horrified to hear of the antisemitic attack on our fellow Jews in Australia. No one should be afraid to light a Chanukiah. No one should be afraid to attend a community gathering or go to school.

We live in a time of terrifying political violence, and JFREJ is fighting for a world where these kinds of attacks on Jews and on anyone would be a nightmare of the past. Baruch dayan haemet.
