The graphics in the five-figure advertisement buy feature a cut-out of a grinning Adams in sunglasses over images of students, families and seniors, according to copies provided to NY1.

The effort is led in part by Make the Road New York and the The People's Plan.

The pressure campaign comes in the final weeks of the Adams administration’s negotiations with the City Council over the city budget.

Adams and his team have argued that city agencies must be run more efficiently to offset the cost of housing migrants and footing labor contracts.

Natalia Aristizabal, deputy director of Make the Road New York, listed proposed reductions in funding for early childhood education, libraries and CUNY as among the coalition’s concerns.

“New Yorkers deserve the truth about what Mayor Adams is doing,” Aristizabal said. “We need a budget that invests in care for our families, not cuts to the services on which our communities rely.”

The advertisements are also backed by the New York Working Families Party and Jews for Racial and Economic Justice.
