Join JFREJ at our July Membership Assembly and Songbook Sing Through! At this assembly we will look back at the organizing work of the past 6 months. We got some wins, and we should celebrate them as well as calibrate and fortify ourselves for the work moving forward. 

We’ll distribute and dig into the JFREJ songbook ( Singing in Public: Melodies to Carry The Movement) as a community, and with our partners, by singing together, and sharing political education about the role of song in building power, solidarity, vision, and diaspora consciousness in our movements past, present and future.

The first 200 JFREJ members on site at the assembly will receive the JFREJ songbook for free! 

SCHEDULE: 

5:30 - 6:30 pm: Check in & refreshments 

6:30 - 7:30: Membership Assembly & Songbook Launch 

7:30 - 10pm: Cover to Cover Songbook Sing-Through (stay as long as you like) 

Location: on-site location TBD, with a hybrid option.

We will be filming the assembly and songbook sing-through for a video project about the songbook. There will be a designated no-film area for anyone who does not want to be filmed.
