On February 25, JFREJ and our partners are getting on the bus to Albany. New York is in the midst of a care crisis, and we need you with us.
This crisis isn’t inevitable. It’s the result of political choices. Governor Hochul and our NY State Legislators need to hear from New Yorkers NOW that we support the only sustainable and equitable plan for universal childcare: taxing the rich.
JFREJ is joining thousands of New Yorkers in Albany for a march and rally to demand a New York we can actually afford. We’re calling on state leaders to tax the rich and invest in the public goods working families need and deserve.
There will be a fleet of buses leaving NYC early in the morning (around 6am) and returning in the evening. More details about the day and transportation will be shared closer to February 25. For now, we need to know who’s ready to show up. Please RSVP only if you truly intend to come, so we can plan transportation and make this moment as powerful as possible.
