This has been a difficult and powerful year for JFREJ. We have led daily court watch shifts since May 2025. We’ve trained and organized hundreds of JFREJers on neighborhood rapid response and building relationships rooted in solidarity and shared safety with our neighbors. And we’ve fought hard to pass necessary (and long overdue) legislation at the city and state level to enshrine the sanctuary and services immigrant New Yorkers deserve.
