January 2026 Candidate Interviews

JFREJ is thrilled to invite all members in good standing to participate in our first round of interviews of candidates seeking our endorsement in 2026! Please RSVP and join us, even if you can only make it for a portion of the event.

Rough schedule, subject to change: 10:30am start & prep, 11am interview with Brad Lander (candidate for NY10),11:40am interview with Eli Northrup (candidate for AD69), 12:45pm interview with Jessica Gonzalez-Rojas (candidate for SD13), 1:30pm Debrief/discuss, 2pm close.

What to expect? On the call, members will interview the candidate, with a longer debrief at the end.

Who can participate? Only dues-paying members of JFREJ (a contribution in the last 12 months) are allowed to participate in these interviews. You can check your membership status here: jfrej.org/portal. And you can join or renew your dues here: jfrej.org/join. Please no paid campaign staffers or other candidates on our JFREJ call (you're welcome to be there while your candidate is being interviewed). Check in with Jenna if you're unsure of whether you can participate.

What happens afterwards? After the interviews are over, everyone will have an opportunity to vote in a straw poll about the candidates and whether/how we should endorse. The JFREJ Endorsements & Research Team along with Team Planet (our representative member-leader body) will make a final decision.
