In Queens we have not one but TWO candidates endorsed by The Jewish Vote to send to Albany. Senator Kristen Gonzalez has worked with us for 2 years as a champion for housing and healthcare, and is seeking another term. Claire Valdez is a new candidate who is a union organizer, and ready to fight for our JFREJ values in office.

This canvass is open to everyone! Whether you live in the area, or are just excited to elect a fellow progressive Jew into office. No canvass experience required. Here's what to expect:

• Meet outside in a park to get canvassing training from the campaign with other JFREJers
• Pair off, and go with a buddy to knock on doors of democratic voters to ask for their support
• Re-group and debrief as a team, likely at an outdoor restaurant or bar in the neighborhood
