JFREJ Purim 5780

The Aftselakhis Spectacle Committee, in cahoots with Jews For Racial and Economic Justice, and Great Small Works, excitedly bring you:

“Stolen Goods – MORE MORE MORE!”

>> Legacy Women
>> DJ Ripley
>> and more TBA

“…This year in shushan it’s back to the living room we go – there is contraband and theft, smuggling and prose, yiddish criminality and mizrakhi poetry, way too many cops and a progressive DA.”

It’s been described as “The Radical Queer Purim Spiel You MUST Attend” (thanks Jewcy!). All your favorite Purim characters will feature, but maybe not in ways you expect. Anticipate music, satire, irreverence, puppets, glitter, doykeit, joy, confusion and lots of fun.

$12-20 at the door, no one turned away for lack of cash or costume. Our first act begins at 8:30!

Our Saturday night show is our all-out spectacle and after-party. Put on your best costume and summon all your energy for the Purim party of your dreams.

Check out our other event:
Thursday March 12th, a more intimate version of the show awaits you at our Preview Show. Be among the first in the known universe to ever see this play!

ACCESS INFO: East Midwood Jewish Center has a ramped front door, an elevator inside the building, and accessible bathrooms. ASL interpretation for Saturday evening’s show is still being confirmed. More access info will be updated soon. Have any access questions or concerns? Don’t hesitate to email us at purimspectaclenyc@gmail.com.
