Over 800 of you -- young and old -- celebrated Purim this year with Jews for Racial and Economic Justice!
From the wild, exquisite Masquerade Ball to the beautiful, engaging Family Show, you showed the incredible power that can come from Jewish culture, political mission, collective creativity, and utter celebration!
Now we take this energy into the streets! Mark your calendars for Seder in the Streets on Wednesday, March 20th! We'll take the power we built at Purim and use it to support the judicial campaign to end Stop & Frisk! Much more information to come.
Want to get involved in JFREJ's Campaign for Police Accountability? Come to the next meeting, this Monday, March 4th at 7pm. More details can be found here.
A huge yasher koach to all those who worked so hard to make this year's Purim Shpil so magnificent! To the Aftselokes Spectacle Committee, Great Small Works, the Midtown Workmen's Circle School, Kolot Chayenu, Communities United for Police Reform, People's Justice, and the over 100 artists, musicians, actors, and volunteers who put in the glamorous and not-at-all-glamorous work over many months to build this grand celebration - we toast to you!
