JFREJ's Fall 2012 All Membership Meeting

This is the moment to determine JFREJ’s next direction for powerful Jewish activism in New York. All summer long, JFREJ members held meetings to hear input and ideas from the JFREJ membership and our allies. We gathered in living rooms throughout the city to talk about JFREJ’s role in movement building, reflect on the legacy of our work for racial and economic justice, and identify transformative and strategic campaigns to explore. Well over 100 JFREJ members and 20 ally organizations and institutions were part of envisioning what transformational Jewish organizing in NYC could look like in 2013/5773. This has been a collective process, built by members, leaders, founders, and you.

Since the summer, the campaign selection committee has engaged in research and conversations with allies, stakeholders, and members to get the input of the community, analyze the current political landscape, and develop campaign proposals. Now it’s down to the final step – your vote.
